I love France. I’ve always been drawn to it really. There’s so much beauty and romance at every turn. The food is next level and the fashion, iconic. There is a reason that the phrase ‘French girl chic’ is a thing. I can just imagine myself living in Paris, riding my bike down the cafe lined streets, a baguette and a bottle of wine in my basket. And who am I wearing??? Jacquemus, of course.
If you hang close to the world of elevated fashion I’m sure that I don’t have to tell you how this brand, appropriately named for designer Simon Jacquemus, completely embodies “French girl chic”. The pieces are just so easy to wear, stylish without being fussy, and never overworked.
While l truly love all things Jacquemus, I really fell in love with this hat. It seems so basic, yet there are so many perfect things about it that I just had to have it in an assortment of colors and fabrics. I am very picky when it comes to headwear and really never fancied myself a ‘hat person’ until this hat made it’s appearance in my closet.
Here are my top reasons why I think this hat is perfect:
- It fits my tiny head, and also my husband’s normal sized head because it has an adjustable tie in the back. Also the bow looks so cute.
- The afore mentioned tie allows me to keep it on my head on a windy day or at the beach, or to keep it loose enough to prevent hat hair.
- The material on the pink and black ones is sturdy but is not so thick that it makes my head too hot
- The proportions on the brim are perfect for keeping the sun out of your eyes while not blocking your view
- Sunglasses fit perfectly under this hat
- It goes with a ton of different outfits and is so much more stylish than throwing on a ball cap.
