The Pixie Market Top You Need Now

I am always on the lookout for a good eye catching piece.  A statement top is one of the best weapons in our fashion arsenal to create an elevated look without a lot of effort.  The perfect statement top is one that is attention grabbing, versatile enough to wear with many pieces from casual to formal, and one that will be remembered long after you have worn it.  Enter the Dominique wire bustier top from Pixie Market.

Pixie Market is one of my favorite retailers to find pieces that are chic, affordable and well made.  Their aesthetic is minimalist yet timeless.  They create pieces based on current trending fashions but these are pieces that you will want to hang on to forever.

Bustier tops are having a moment in fashion right now and there are many different iterations of them popping up everywhere.  The Dominique wire bustier top is my favorite. With its playful yet classy design, you could wear it in so many different ways. The plunge on this top is dramatic but it shockingly doesn’t feel too revealing on. The best part is the price.  This top clocks in at less than $100 making it an irresistible purchase.

I took the plunge, no pun intended, and ordered this top in both black and white.  I chose to style it in here in two monochromatic looks.  I decided to keep it simple and added some designer accessories to complete the look.

There are many more ways to style this top.  It looks great with a baggy pair of jeans.  It also looks great with sweatpants and heels, under an oversized blazer, with leggings, or paired with a skirt.  The options really are endless.  It can also transition through the seasons by adding a sweater or coat on top.  Or even a leather jacket like my vintage red Gucci one pictured below.  It’s definitely a piece that I can see myself wearing season after season and year after year.
