Let’s talk about this new bag by Luar; her name is Ana.
Every fashion season yields a new ‘it’ accessory and this season the Ana bag takes the crown. Created by designer Rual Lopez, formerly of Hood by Air notoriety, this bag is showing up in street style and on A-list celebrities. Ana is refreshingly simplistic in design and somehow manages to hit a duality of both a classic and whimsical silhouette. It is both streetwear and elegant, an aesthetic that not many designers are able to capture. This bag can go wherever you go.
Luar’s Fall 2023 runway showcased this bag in a number of styles, sizes, and finishes. All of the bags feature this oversize top handle that is the brand’s signature. The small Ana is perfect for holding your daily essentials like your phone, wallet, keys. The large Ana (pictured) is much larger in size and could hold a tablet for work but is not quite large enough for a laptop. I love the ‘briefcase’ look of this bag. It comes with a detachable shoulder strap so you can wear it crossbody or carry it by the handle like a tote bag. There is also a weekender bag that is perfect for packing a few things for a short getaway.
